SSAW Line Pipe
Spiral welded line pipe for water, oil and gas transmission, produced to API 5L and GB/T 9711.

Coil forming and welding
Strip is uncoiled, leveled and edge-milled before it enters the forming unit, where it is shaped into a helix and closed with a double-sided submerged arc weld. The seam is tracked continuously so that the weld bead stays aligned along the full pipe length, and the finished inside and outside welds are inspected before the pipe moves to the sizing station.
Sizing, testing and inspection
Pipes pass through sizing and straightening, then an end-facing station that prepares the bevel. Each order is dimensionally checked and hydrostatically tested at the pressure agreed with the buyer. Non-destructive testing of the weld seam can be arranged to the inspection level required by the project specification.
Coating, marking and dispatch
Bare pipe can be supplied direct, or moved to the coating line for 3PE, FBE or cement lining. Marking, end protection and packing follow the agreed packing list, with containers or break bulk loading arranged from the yard. Documents are prepared against the destination and the terms of the order.
